Check-in Instructions:
1. Directions:
The address to the ranch home is: "603 Old Base Rd, Aurora, TX 76078". If you're using Google Maps, search for "The Arcadia Resorts Aurora TX" in the maps and it will give you better directions. If you use the physical address, it will take you to the front of the ranch and you have to take the gravel road on the side to go all the way to the back. You will see Horse and Party Barns on both sides of the road and signs for the Arcadia Resorts (follow the signs for Arcadia Resort & Event Venues) and continue to go until you see the Swimming Pool, and Ranch home.
2. Check-In:
The Lodge (Ranch home):
We offer a non-contact self-check-in option. You will find an electronic lock on the main entrance door with the numbers. Please use the code that we are going to send before your arrival, to open the door. The lock automatically locks after 5 minutes so please make sure to pull the door properly so that it can lock by itself when you're leaving.
Our usual check-in time is at 4 PM CST unless otherwise discussed with the management before your arrival. The house will be professionally cleaned and ready for your check-in.
3a. Swimming Pool : (Usually opens from Memorial Day through Labor Day)
The swimming pool is outdoor and it's NOT heated. Though we have a weekly maintenance where a professional pool company cleans, and maintains the swimming pool and chemical levels, you may see some leaves and other debris falling into the swimming pool from the trees around the pool, as it’s an outdoor pool. You can use the Pool net (attached to the pool house) to clean any debris.
3b. Hot Tub/Spa: (Usually opens from Memorial Day through Labor Day)
You will get a one-hour complimentary daily usage to use the Hot Tub/Spa. You can purchase additional hours at $50/hour. We will need a 2-hour heads-up before you would like to use the Hot Tub as it will take approximately 1 hour to prime it.
4. Gymnasium: The gym has cardio equipment and weights for your stay. The gymnasium is by the basketball hoop (small stand-alone building) and you can access the gym without any code as there is no lock. Please make sure to wipe down the equipment after each use.
5. Renovation work: This is a big estate of 26 acres with other buildings besides the Ranch home. We occasionally have some renovation work happening on the property. We have instructed the construction crew to avoid accessing any areas reserved for your group. You may see occasional trucks entering the estate, but they shouldn't obstruct your activities.
6. Kitchen: Do not throw any hard food in the garbage disposal.
7. Toilet: Do not throw anything but toilet paper in the toilets.
8. Towels: You'll find about 25 bath towels, 5 pool towels, and 5 washcloths in the guest supply room on your day 1.
Fresh towels will not be provided every day. Please use the laundry downstairs to clean them for further use. You'll find laundry detergent in the laundry room.
9. Wifi: WiFi is available inside the home with rural broadband connectivity. The password will be emailed before your arrival. It can also be found on the kitchen countertop.
10. Bathrooms: All bathrooms have hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, washcloth, and toilet tissue.

12. Note - The entrance door has a smart lock that automatically locks after some time if left unlocked. Please do not remove the batteries from the smart lock.
13. Please do not move furniture, decor, or household items from their original locations or take any indoor items outside. This helps us maintain the home in good condition for all guests.
